About this Death Cafe

Our Death Cafe is free to attend, any refreshments are payable to Bullet but purchasing them is optional.  We gather to have far ranging discussions about death and dying and everyone is welcome to ask their questions or give their points of view. You are also welcome to come and just listen - no pressure to say anything if you aren't comfortable doing so.! We welcome all faiths and none and all ages!  We are not a bereavement or counselling group, this is best left to the experts; just a discussion group to talk about the one subject that most people just don't want to consider.

We will be meeting at 1.00 pm the last Wednesday of every month, and we so look forward to meeting you.

As a p.s., we have held four sessions now, each have had a unique flavour to them according to the different participants but they have all been fascinating and deep conversations have been had.  Do join us, you would be most welcome.

About Pauline de la Fuente and Lou Requena

Born out of a real feeling that death can and should be a subject talked about as easily as birth, we got together and decided to join Death Cafe and launch a Hastings branch.

Pauline is a volunteer at the Hospice and is a trained Soul Midwife with a deep spiritual faith.

Lou is a specialist in Qigong and Tai Chi and an intuitive Life Coach.

Vicki is our host at the wonderful Bullet Coffee House, where she spoils us with delicious savoury and sweet treats along with drinks to help us enjoy the get together even more.
