Ateliernormalno is a studio founded by Stanislav (Stas) Turina and Katya Libkind in 2018 to provide an art platform for adults with Down Syndrome in Ukraine, a field previously lacking a local presence. Turina, a graduate of the Lviv National Academy of Arts, serves as a curator for the studio, which fosters collaboration between artists with and without Down Syndrome and has been working with the Goethe Institute and the German magazine Ohrenkuss.

Alona Karavai is co-founder of several initiatives at the intersection of art, education, and civil society: Insha Osvita, the Khata-Maysternya residence, the Asortymentna kimnata gallery, and the publishing platform Post Impreza. For almost twenty years, she has been developing Ukrainian-German cultural projects and is a board member of the MitOst association in Berlin, an international network for cultural exchange and civic engagement.
