About this Death Cafe
If your life is a movie, how does it end? The truth is, most of us don’t feel like we have a lot of say in how our own story ends. And not having a say can feel overwhelming, lonely, and some days, a little bit terrifying. It doesn’t have to feel that way. We just have to start talking about it.
We need to talk openly about death. Join us for our FREE Death Cafe, where we'll dive into death - life's ultimate mystery. Death Cafe discussions are meaningful and unforgettable, and they aren’t just sad and serious. We’ll laugh, learn, and plan for the future. You’ll make deep connections with new friends.
Attending a Death Cafe might even change how you view your life and how you live each day. People at all phases of life are welcome. You and the other attendees will decide the conversation topics, but we promise to help keep things light, fun, and educational.
Let's plan for a good death, even if it's not happening for many years to come. A light snack and coffee will be served.
Ecky Family YMCA in Encinitas, CA- ALL are welcome!
Death isn’t always easy to talk about. But talking about it can be really, really good. We look forward to seeing you there!
