This Death Café is organized by The Alliance of Professional Health Advocates (APHA), the largest professional organization for independent health and patient advocates and care managers. As a Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), I believe open conversations about death and dying are an essential part of advocacy. This gathering offers a supportive space for reflection, honesty, and community.
About Ali Madad
Ali Madad is a Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), AI engineer, and creator of GiveCare, a tool supporting caregivers with round-the-clock guidance. He serves as an advisor to A Better Goodbye, an initiative reshaping conversations around death, dying, and grief, and is as a mentor with I AM ALS and a policy member of the Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC).
